Well, the title says it all really. I was putting off doing my update as I aren't feeling too inspiring. Then I thought well, I guess some people would like to know how a Personal Trainer gets through these kind of days. Last week was a shocker. I had such a bad tummy bug and spent alot of time on the toilet.....lol Not nice!!! This week I'm definately suffering from lack of motivation, I've hit a wall, I'm frustrated, Feel overwhelmed with goals I have set etc. If a client came to me feeling like this I would re-boot their training. |

How do we re-motivate ourselves after we have had interuptions to our plans? We just seem to get into a routine and feel positive about the hard work we are putting in and then it all gets pushed to the side. Well this week I was faced with "Shall I train" or "Shall I not bother till Monday". Any time you think to yourself "I'll start on Monday", you need to actually start straight away. It is too easy for Monday to be put off till next Monday. My train de-railed when my Son got admitted to Hospital with Pneumonia Monday week ago. |
