Chaos verses calmness

My plan in my last update has worked real well.
I have trained hard and enjoyed my cardio on my exercycle and the glute-inator.
Focused on fun exercises and refreshed things. Played new music and sang along loudly.

It’s been a real busy week with family commitments and school functions etc but I am pleased with how well I did.

My Arthritis is flaring up big time in my hands, especially my thumbs.
When I am well I forget all too easy how much it hurts. I guess it is a bit like giving birth, you do it again even though it hurt like hell.

Living and Learning

1 of December 2011
Only one month left in 2011.
This has been a year of challenges.
I gave myself the challenge of getting some important things sorted or at least in the process of getting results.
One of the most important things at the top of my list was to try and get some answers and results about my daughter, her birth, test results, medication and advise, any help that we may be able to get to help us help her.

I wish I could say that it has been easy and successful.
Every door I knocked on got slammed in my face.

Calm

Calm
How calm are you on an ordinary day?
How calm are you when something doesn’t quite go your way?

Mastering the art of staying calm really does take practice.

My 2011 has been a year for me to stand up and get some answers to some serious life questions and to work on my calm assertive self.

The more I work on it the more I notice people around me that are not calm and assertive.
It is really quite interesting. I realize just how far I have come and how practice does pay off, I wouldn’t say that practice makes perfect because I believe there is no one that is perfect in the world.

Part One
School Holidays are over and I get to have a little down time in between clients.
Time to focus and visualize and practice, prepare and be patient

The holidays were great and we really needed time out to all pick ourselves up and move forward.
We didn’t venture far from home. A few visits to the beach and zoo, and a lot of crafty activities.

I was looking forward to today and having the children back at school but a side of me was also nervous.
Eva has moved up to the next class and because we were away sick we didn’t get to talk to the teacher and prepare as well as I would like.

To Better Oneself

I believe if you are wanting to make changes/improvements to your body you need to give yourself a good year to transform your shape. This is especially true if you want to compete.
I have never understood the person who comes to me and wants to compete in a few months and hasnt really been training at all. It doesnt mean it cant be done, but it does mean that you arent going to enjoy the journey or learn enough along the way.
My goal when competing is to "Impress Myself".
It is great to win, It is better to see your personal improvements and be proud of what you have achieved.
