What a nasty day I have had today. The Rheumatoid has hit with avengence. For 3 days following the competition I gave myself some freedom and ate whatever I felt like. I also was going to give myself a good week or 2 off training. On the forth day I noticed that the pain was returning so I set myself up with a new training program and hit the gym. I also cleaned up my diet again. By the 5th day, today, I can hardly walk and have had trouble using my hands. When you live pain free you forget how horrible the real bad days are. |

When you lose motivation and start working on hanging in there, it doesn't all come right straight away. It takes patience. Patience, Preparation and Practice. I mention these 3 words a lot but they are 3 very important steps to staying on track. Last week I was struggling, this week I guess I am a little more motivated. I have changed up my training and really kick started myself into getting results. A Change is good and on Sunday I changed the gym around to make the most of the summer months ahead and how hot it will soon be. |

SWEATING IT OUT, Well thats what I am trying to do. I seem to be coming down with my kids flu that they have been struggling with. I am trying to sweat it out and use the power of positive thinking to make it leave me alone. Being a busy Mum etc I hardly ever go out..........and this weekend, believe it or not, I have 2 nights out planned ( Another reason I dont want to get sick). This week I have had to call on all my techno skills to try and get my new computer to befriend my not so new printer, tonight finally I have connected them ,hopefully happily ever after. |

Ups and Downs. My life has been stuck on a roller coaster over the last few weeks. My children have been struggling with a flu/illness for over 6 weeks now. My little girl just isnt getting better. On Friday her teacher gave her the day off and by Saturday she wasnt improving at all.So today was another trip to a Doctor. I have recently changed Doctors and was very impressed with out New Doctor today. Hopefully with her 3rd batch of medicine she will finally pick up. I need to get her feeling well as she is having an MRI Scan in a few weeks and we dont want it to be cancelled. |
